So – I have a confession to make. In the last four days, I spent AT LEAST 10 hours playing video games. OK, just one video game in particular. Are you ready?
The Force Unleashed.
This is highly unlike me. It’s rare that a video game out there manages to capture my interest with it’s attractiveness, easy playing [...]

Just cause there’s vampires in it. That’s all.
I did actually enjoy the first book of the Twilight series which I picked up Thursday during my lunch break, and finished Saturday afternoon. Yeah, it was one of those kinda weekends.
To be honest – I’m not quite sure why I liked it as much as [...]

What can I say about the Marvels graphic novel that hasn’t already been written somewhere else? It’s gorgeous, and sumptuously illustrated by “the man” of comic artistry Alex Ross – with captivating storytelling by Kurt Busiek.
The series portrays some of Marvel’s best superhero stories, as seen through the eyes of ordinary people – specifically a [...]

Thanks to the ultra-amazing Sir Michael, I just got the skinny on a new series that will most assuredly be taking up residence in my comic box when it finally hits the shelves. It is X-Men Noir, and you can read all about it here.
And here too.
Mmmm – have fun checking out this art:
I’m getting [...]

The last set of books I had the pleasure of reading are miscellaneous (but still awesome) series on our pull list that don’t have a central theme or connection to one another. Except for the awesomeness.
They are: The Walking Dead, The Dark Tower: The Road Home, Runaways
THE WALKING DEAD
*Possible Spoilers, Ya’ll*
When this series written [...]

The entire gaggle of X-Books (we’re collecting 4 of them) consisted of 13 issues, and some were fairly slow going due to a lack of interest on my part. So, without further ado, here goes:
ASTONISHING X-MEN:
Of course, we all know a few of the main reasons this book was making it in the box. [...]

So – I’m watching the CNN coverage of Service Nation’s forum on National Service hosted at Columbia University (Obama’s alma mater).
McCain is saying interesting things (when they are understandable) but mostly his tone and repeated statements come back to first Faith Based Organizations and then privatization.
Basically – he’s not interested in expanding or plugging anymore [...]

It took a few days to accomplish it, but I dug my way through ten comic books – the first batch on the long but distinguished list. The three series:
1. Angel: After the Fall
2. Buffy: The Vampire Slayer Season 8
3. Spike: After the Fall
For obvious reasons, once you’ve started reading Whedon related material, it’s difficult [...]

So – I’ve been a bit neglectful of my blogging duties, but all in the name of good fun..and making ridiculous fan vids.
Another reason is that I’ve sworn off graphic novels and tpb’s until something more interesting crossed my path. I was getting tired of scouring the library shelves for some [...]
